What Celebré holds, why it holds it, and how to get rid of it.

If you are a host
Signing in stores your name, email address and — if you used Google — the account identifier Google returns. Everything you then create is yours: the invitation, its date and location, the sections you write, and the guest list you enter or import. You can delete any invitation from its dashboard, which permanently removes it, its guest list and every answer on it.
If you are a guest
You never sign up, so there is no account and nothing is stored about you except what the host entered: your name, and any email address or phone number they had. If you answer, we also store your answer, how many people you are bringing, any meal choice, and any message you wrote. Your private RSVP link is a random code — anyone holding it can answer as you, which is why it should not be posted anywhere public.
Where it is kept
In one Postgres database hosted by Neon, in the EU. Maps, when a host adds a venue, are embedded from Google, which sees that request. Nothing else leaves the server.
What is not done with it
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone beyond the two services above. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking on any page. Invitation and RSVP pages are marked no-index, so they are not meant to appear in search results — though a link pasted somewhere public can still be found by anyone who sees it.
Payments
When an invitation is paid for, Celebré keeps a record of that payment: its amount, its date and the reference the payment processor gave it. Card and account details are never seen by Celebré and never stored here — they are handled entirely by the payment processor, which holds its own record of the transaction. The record here is kept because it is an accounting record and a payment may have to be refunded or reconciled afterwards. It is the one thing that outlives a closed account, and when an account is closed it stops naming anybody: its link to the account and to the invitation is removed, together with any payer details the processor had sent, leaving an amount and a date.
Music hosts upload
A host may upload one audio file to play on their own invitation. When they do, they confirm they have the right to use that recording, and that confirmation is stored with the file. The file is kept alongside that invitation, is served only from its page, and is deleted when the host removes it or deletes the invitation. If you hold the rights to a recording you believe is being used here without permission, write to hebergon2311@gmail.com with the invitation's address and what the recording is, and it will be taken down.
How long it is kept
Until it is deleted. An invitation and its guests are stored until the host deletes them or asks for the account to be removed. Because this is a beta there is no automatic clean-up of old events yet; when that changes, this page will say what the rule is.
Getting your data removed
A host can delete an invitation and its whole guest list from the dashboard, immediately and permanently. A host can also close their account from the account screen, which erases every invitation they built and every guest on them in one step. A guest who wants their own row removed should ask the host who invited them — they can remove a guest in one click. If that is not possible, write to hebergon2311@gmail.com.
